Terms of use

Last updated: 25 August 2026

Purpose

These terms govern the use of Vantus (vantus.gg), a community tool for organising World of Warcraft guilds and raids.

Signing in constitutes acceptance of these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.

Beta service and free access

Vantus is currently offered as a beta, free of charge and with no consideration of any kind. There is no paid tier, no advertising and no donations.

A beta may contain defects, interruptions and unannounced changes. The service is provided as is, with no guarantee of result.

Account

Sign-in happens exclusively through Discord. You must hold a valid Discord account and comply with Discord's own terms.

You are responsible for the use made of your account. Your displayed username must remain appropriate and must not impersonate anyone.

Minimum age

The service is reserved for people aged 15 or over. Below that age, signing up requires the joint consent of a parent or guardian.

Rules of use

By using the service, you agree not to:

  • post unlawful, abusive, hateful or harassing content, or content infringing the rights of others;
  • impersonate another person, character or guild;
  • attempt to access data or features not meant for you, or disrupt the operation of the service;
  • automate your access in a way that degrades the service for other users.

Content you post

You remain responsible for what you enter: character names, guild names, off-app player names, raid notes.

You grant the editor the right to host and display that content within the app, solely to provide the service, and for as long as you use it.

Guilds and ranks

A guild is administered by its Guild Master and officers, who hold broad rights: managing members, ranks, raids and the roster. These are users like you, not representatives of the editor.

A guild owner cannot delete their account without first transferring guild ownership or deleting the guild, so that other members' data is not destroyed.

Availability

The editor guarantees neither continuous availability, nor freedom from errors, nor data retention in the event of an incident. The service may be suspended, changed or shut down at any time, particularly during the beta. It is up to you to keep a copy of anything that matters to you.

Termination

You may stop using the service at any time and delete your account from within the app, without notice or justification.

The editor may suspend or delete an account in the event of a clear breach of these terms, in particular the rules of use.

Intellectual property

World of Warcraft and Blizzard Entertainment are trademarks of Blizzard Entertainment, Inc. Vantus is an independent community tool, with no affiliation with or endorsement from Blizzard Entertainment, Inc.

Material originating from the game (class and specialisation names, icons) remains the property of its respective holders and is used for identification purposes only, in a strictly non-commercial context.

Governing law

These terms are governed by French law.

In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought first by writing to contact@vantus.gg. Failing that, the French courts will have jurisdiction.
